We are Elke and Dirk, a Flemish couple, for years in love with France and with the great dream to ever settle there in "La douce France". About 2 years ago we decided to look for a suitable house to make our dream come true and we found "Maison des Ingénieurs" in a beautiful region.

The history of our "Maison des Ingénieurs" goes back to the period around 1860. At that time, Coal mines in the region were in full development and the mining company decided to build a home for their engineers. The house will function for about 100 years as "Engineer House". After the necessary modernization but while maintaining the character of the house, you can now enjoy the green surroundings, the beautiful nature and tranquillity in Molières-sur-Cèze.

The small characteristic Molières-sur-Cèze (near Saint-Ambroix) is located in the Languedoc-Roussillion. It is located on the edge of the national park "Cevennes" and near the famous Ardèche.

The region offers a variety of possibilities such as hiking, cycling, mountain bike, kayak, adventure parks and so much more. But also, for those who want to experience some culture and history, cities like Nimes, Uzès, Anduze, Barjac are definitely worth a visit. You can also enjoy our beautiful garden and the heated swimming pool.

The 5 guest rooms are very spacious and all have their own bathroom. 4 rooms are located on the first floor of which 2 rooms have a view of the garden and the swimming pool. 1 room is located on the 2nd floor. In the morning we serve an extensive breakfast with delicious fresh (regional) products.
